I have been watching the MLB.TV app on my Amazon Fire tv 4K stick but it was very grainy. So much so that I couldn’t make out names players faces or enjoy watching the games. The buffering was horrible and the lag was awful. So I used the Google machine to find out if there was an Ethernet option and lo and behold there was. After I purchased this item I didn’t think it was a bad price, I also had to buy a new Ethernet cable but all in I’m about less than $30 which is fine because not only does my MLB app come in crystal clear but all my other apps have zero lag. Edit Update 20211118:Could be 5stars but reduced back to 4 as the latest interface has some major issues.So the issues with the Ethernet Adapter were fixed about 6 months ago, as the 2nd Gen Firestick had worked well with the Ethernet Adapter since then. However, there are occasional glitches, so I ran tests and keep a background internet speed app running at all times. It appears some Apps just have their own issues and the device itself is working well with the Firestick in the most distant bedroom. I found the device easy to connect and use. It gives me piece of mind to know I’m connect directly to the router for the best possible connection. I do t really notice any visible improvement in quality or speed though.

This adapter works perfectly and is extremely easy to install.
