I got this for my 12 year old daughter and it is perfect for her as she is beginning the sewing journey. The machine is definitely for beginners and it is simple to use. The instructions are decent to follow but we still went to youtoube for extra assistance and eventually asked Nana to help. The quality is decent for a beginners machine. There has been a few jammings but Nana said that is normal at the beginning. Apperance wise, it looks just like the picture. It is made of strong plastic.

This is a decent beginner machine that comes with everything you need to start sewing straight out of the box , it is made of plastic that seems to be pretty sturdy with the exception of the foot petal which seems to be pretty flimsy so i am concerned how long it will hold up . I like that you have many stitch options like different zigzags and waves and straight stitches .you get plenty of sewing supplies that include threads and already threaded bobbins , spare needles , tape measure and scissors . the compact design is nice and perfect for younger kids to learn how to use a sewing machine .

I really wanted to like this sewing machine, but unfortunately I had several problems with it. The thread kept coming loose and getting tangled, and the machine would sometimes skip stitches. It also struggled with thicker fabric and didn’t feel very sturdy. I had to keep stopping to fix the thread, which made sewing frustrating. It might be okay for very basic projects, but it didn’t work well for what I needed.
