Minolta MN40Z ProShot 20 MP / 1080P FHD Bridge Camera with 40x Optical Zoom - Blue

I bought this camera for everyday photos and travel, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price. The 40x optical zoom works really well, especially for outdoor pictures and distant shots. The camera is lightweight, easy to carry, and simple to use even if you’re not very tech savvy.The picture quality is good in daylight, and the battery life has been decent so far. I also like that it records clear 1080p video. Overall, this is a great beginner or casual-use camera if you want something more powerful than a phone camera without spending a fortune.

Pros small, lightweight, easy to use, Wi-Fi, capable, and it takes pretty decent day photographs. I also like that it does have a built-in lash that you can use. Cons the first day using it on two separate occasions from switching from mode to mode and zooming close to far away my camera actually froze. I had to pop out the batteries and put them back in to reset the camera so I will keep an eye on that. I just got into photography as a hobby and wasn't sure about spending a lot on a “nicer” DSLR. This little bridge camera is a great all-in-one for my needs and so far has taken some decent photos. It’s compact and lightweight so it’s not fatiguing while worn and it slips away into a pack just fine. The controls and modes take a bit of getting used to, but become easy to navigate afterwords. I had been looking for a decent camera that wasn't over $400. As an elderly man, I just wanted a camera that was easy to use, took good pictures and used batteries that could be replaced. A camera that has to be plugged in to recharge is worthless. I found this camera easy to use. The picture quality was very good and the 40x zoom was very impressive. It has a lot of features I may never use but the instruction booklet gives step by step instructions that even I could follow. I got the camera on sale but it's certainly worth the full price. I'm very satisfied.

I am impressed with the overall quality and vast number of features at this price point. Great tactile camera body texture and convenient small size. The 40X optical zoom is noteworthy. The supplied camera 'bag' is little more than a spandex pouch, so I bought a $25 aftermarket hard case made for the Kodak AZ405, which for reference is the same size as this Minolta. Unable to use the wifi option. Will connect to phone but disconnects upon opening the app. Unable to get support from Minolta.Quality of photos is not great.Would suggest looking at more reputable photo brand.

I'm very impressed with my Minolta MN40Z 20MP Digital Camera. It's very similar to most of the other brands. I had a Kodak AZ 528 that simply would not hold focus. This puppy is awesome, it has image stabilizing which helps with any shakiness on the users part. Field of view is somewhat tight, getting wide angle shots requires backing up. # focus modes, that can get confusing depending which mode you're using. I've tested it over the last couple of weeks and can't find much bad to say about it. It come with 4 alkaline batteries but suggests using rechargeable ones. The alkaline last longer tha
