Minolta MN26Z ProShot 20MP Camera, 26X Optical Zoom, 1080p Video (Purple)

Good camera, not great. I bought this because we were going on a trip and a phone camera was not going to cut it. It's good for casual holiday pictures. If you want excellent wildlife photos from more than 30 yards this probably is not the camera for you. The pictures look much better on the computer than they do on the small display. I did have trouble focusing a couple times at a distance and through a window. It does have focus priority settings but no manual focus. Batteries lasted just over a full day. I had an 8 pack of rechargeable batteries which worked well. Probably should have used

So far so good. Takes really nice pictures. It will reach out there and get it. You just need to read the book with it, and play with the settings to see which is best for you.

I ordered this because I'm tired of everyone making me take pictures or taking my Samsung to take pictures. That said this arrived as described and on time. Horrible image quality outside, inside where the light is controlled by overhead lighting it's good, but outside, oversaturated and just horrible, grain like images.

It was much larger than I expected. Also, the carrying case was ripped along the zipper. I sent the whole thing back.

I'm a Nikon DSLR shooter for about a decade. I've owned dozens of cameras and taken hundreds of thousands of photos. With that experience, my assessment of this Minolta MN26Z is that the image quality can be top notch and the zoom is just amazing for a camera of this size.
