This unit did everything it was supposed to do. Hooking it up was very easy and the screen lit up and was quite readable considering the low price. It displayed the trouble code and cleared it very easily. The code did not come back after starting the car several times, indicating the code was merely a temporary glitch. The unit also made available some other information that I didn't really understand and I'll have to do some research on it. All in all, I'm very pleased with it's performance at such a low price. I hope it proves reliable over the long haul.

I would recommend this to anybody who wants to know why their check engine light is on and it will also clear that code for you. Once you know of error code and you go to your mechanic, you can tell them that you know what it’s showing to be wrong. This is a great item, especially for the very reasonable price.
