I bought this for our 5-year-old and it works really well. there are good points and bad points to the camera. The good points are that it is easy to use and really durable with the included foamy cover. I also like that it has a strap on it so the kids don't drop it too often. The pictures it takes are really nice quality. The battery does last a while and we charge it about once a week. The kids will take the camera out and take pictures several times a day for 20 to 30 minutes so it does get a lot of use.The bad part about the camera is that it is very slow to focus. we've had to teach the

Stops holding a charge within 9 months
UPDATE: They sent me a replacement, but it had the same problem. I'll be buying a different camera now. Don't get this one!I really liked this camera in theory and I chose this one in particular because it didn't come with games or a touchscreen. Our child also loved it. However, within 9 months of purchasing it, the battery no longer holds a charge and is useless. It's extremely disappointing.I've reached out to MyFirst and will update my review depending on if/how they respond.

This is very slow, and has a user interface that is confusing for adults, let alone the children it's designed for. A little more thought would have gone a long way, and I would have paid more for faster electronics. Especially at this price, it's hard to recommend this product.

Really dandy!
Our wonderful 4-year old grandson often watched us taking photos of him and his Mom & Dad. Right out of the box this lil camera pleased him very much and was easy to use. On the same two-day visit he was already snapping pictures of anything and everything, seeing his photos on the camera, having a ball with it. Highly recommended.

Did not hold up
The first camera I had the charging port collapsed inside after about 10 plugins. The second one I have now started freezing and is completely unusable. I liked that this camera had no games on it but it has not held up and the software is obviously buggy. Very disappointed and now I’m a few weeks behind my return window so I’m stuck with this.
