I purchased this as an emergency stove for a 72 hour kit. It checks all of my boxes for that.I just needed something to be able to boil water with to make hot beverages or to rehydrate freeze dried meals.It packs up very neatly. And can even fit a 230 g isobutane bottle inside. I have boiled water with it several times. It will boil two cups of water in about 2 minutes and 50 seconds. This was super cheap super light and has worked amazingly for me. I've used this stove on probably 10 trips now and it works flawlessly. I do wish the arms were a little wider to provide a better base for the pot, and I do plan on replacing this with the slightly more expensive option that has the wider arms, but this thing is still a beast. I will say if youre expecting wind, a wind screen will do wonders, as this one does cook slower in high wind. Also the pots are awesome as well. The whole system is extremely light and takes up little room in my pack. Budget ultralight at its finest

Lightweight ,packable and durable boils water in under a minute, cools quickly ,very adequate, you may want to consider a additional coffe cup, Be careful you can easily burn your ravioli s with this.

I am new to the backpacking thing and this everything you need mess kit is great! i like the pots that have measuring markers on the inside with their collapsable handles, the stove which fits on my isobutane gas can, the mesh bag holds is nice too. I will say the collapsable spork is a nice idea but if you are using the pots to boil water and put into a dehydrated food bag this may force you to poor it back into the pot or a separate plate so that the spork can reach. However I don’t fault the kit for that lack of versatility.The pots are easy enough to clean and the stove is easy to install,

I give the burner 5/5, the pot set 3/5. We’ve used this out hiking on 3 trips as well as a few times around the house, and I’ve really fallen in love with this burner. It works even in fairly stiff wind, the lighter is a great addition, and it is super light and easy to pack. The whole setup is a breeze to setup and tear down. The pot set however feels super cheap. I dented it just by stirring some soup mix into water. The lid is honestly the worst part. It is very fiddle to get on the pot, and it doesn’t stay in place well at all.
