Awesome audio tool to tie multiple systems together. Small and compact and out of sight. Just plug it in, then plug in the correct real eARC HDMI 16k 96gbs cables and you are good to go. Please remember you have to have the right cables or eARC will not work. Old cables just throw away or donate. Love this product and connected my KEF and Klipsch systems together for an incredible experience.
Great product works great
It resolved the problem but it created two different audio options on my screen.
I bought the OREI 201 splitter for my home theater setup. (Much to my wife's chagrin) I have a dual/parallel 7.1 system via two Sony STR-DH790 receivers; 14 speakers and two powered subs. The 201 splitter functions perfectly to power on/off and control both receivers with the remote from the TV (LG B5). OREIs tech support was very helpful and walked me through the amp and TV settings so everything works perfectly. I could not be more pleased!
I connect an HDMI ARC output to the OREI ARC audio splitter, the extractor HDMI output 1 to my Sonos Arc soundbar and the extractor HDMI output 2 to a JBL Partybox Club 120 speaker. When I use the TV the Sonos receives stereo 2 channel signal instead of the Dolby digital plus 5.1 as when the extractor was not plugged in. Playing around multiple times including removing the cable to the speaker and the sound does not revert to 5.1 channel as advertised.I also found it dubious that I can't see all the reviews comments. This extractor is going to be returned.
This ARC/eARC audio splitter does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Setup was straightforward, it’s truly plug-and-play, and it successfully splits the audio signal from the TV to two different audio systems at the same time. Everything connected easily and the audio came through clearly without any noticeable issues.It’s nice that it supports higher-end formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, and the HDMI-CEC volume control worked with my TV remote, which kept things simple without needing extra remotes. The unit itself is also small and easy to tuck behind a TV or entertainment center.That said,
I have my bars on each side of my living room and the sound meets in the middle. I’m thinking up upgrading to a 1x3 and put a bar in front. It works like it said it would.
