I recently got a Roku and the remote it came with has a glitch it kept going to the home screen and I couldn't watch anything. I have a ton of apps and it would be work to set up a new one so we decided to order this remote. I assumed I'd have to program it and it might be difficult. Nope. Soon as the batteries are in it's ready to go. I have a Roku ultraLT and I know it works on others but I can personally say it's amazing for that Roku. I have no complaints at all. Wish I had done it sooner. Great price too.

Got a free Roku 3 from my neighborhood ‘Buy Nothing’ group, only downside was it didn’t have a remote. After reading the reviews for this product, I decided to give it a shot to work my free Roku 3. It just arrived today and voilà, c’est parfait! Works great! Just turn on your tv, unplug and reset your Roku player, make sure there are no obstacles between the remote and the Roku device, and the remote automatically connected to my Roku! I followed the instructions in the product description and it worked just fine! It doesn’t have volume buttons, which is no big deal. Thrilled to have a remote

We like it a lot so far
I really like this remote! There are no reviews at the point of writing this and, as I am very reliant on reviews normally, I almost didn't purchase this. We've used the remote daily for the past few days (so I can't speak for its durability). It does not come with batteries, but the buttons are easy to use (slightly squishy and easy to press). We don't use VUDU, but we use the others and it makes it way faster to access our favorite channels.For ours, there is no voice activation or volume buttons (fine by us).

Great overall - slow response
Remote works well, I love the quick choice options (which is why I got it). My only complaint is that it seems slower then the original remote that came with the Roku. Even with the lag, I’m keeping the remote because it works and the preprogrammed options are great.

You literally put in batteries and it works. I loved that! And I love that it worked with the roku stick unlike some of the others available. Can't go wrong with this remote for the price. Between my dogs and kids we go through remotes quickly.. and the roku brand ones were getting expensive to replace all the time. This one works just as well for half the cost. Highly recommend.

Cheap and bad
This is a cheap remote option and now I know why. It takes like five clicks just for receiver to recognize you've clicked a button. Doesnt work unless receiver is pointed directly at remote. Just pay the extra 10 dollars and get an official Roku remote because this is not worth it at all

The remote came exactly as pictured, the only semi-issue I’ve noticed is that you’ve got to be within around 10ft of the Roku to get it to work, opposed to the original remote that worked from 20ft+ away. But for the price, it’s not a big deal, plus I much rather have to walk a little bit closer to change a channel than buy a whole new Roku.
