I was hoping I could use these for doing some small cuts and notching of tile ,cement board, for a bathroom remodel but they were not completely up to the task. They work for small notching but they are really slow. i guess my expectations were too high. Rotary diamond blades are the best solution but these worked in a pinch. The blade says grit removal but Im not sure what that is. It worked on concrete block, porcelain tile, and cement board but it took a while. I love my oscillating saw but it best for softer material.

This kind of head works well for removing grout between tiles without damaging the tiles. I improvised a depth stop from plywood to protect the electric underfloor heating.
