I got this unit as my van (LDV G10) didn't come with native Android Auto - I had to use a 3rd party app to connect my phone and it was pretty clunky. I didn't want to do a full unit replacement as I was told removing the factory audio unit and screen might invalidate the vehicle warranty so thought I'd try this as a reasonably cheap alternative.It works great as dash mounted Android Auto control unit with excellent access to maps and other phone apps - no issues with lag or the touch screen. But the trick is to connect your phone direct to the car bluetooth, not through the unit. The sound out
