Wireless Carplay Screen with 1080P Backup Camera: Auto Reconnect in Seconds

I installed the CarPlay/backup camera into my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee , and I wonder why I waited so long. The system is truly plug and play, with the exception of the cord that has to be run to the rear of the car, if you want the backup camera. I have had the system installed for about two weeks now and the mounting cup has not moved. I like the little velcro strap you are given to hold the cord from the display to the front of the dash, so the wire is not moving all the time. We’ve had this installed for four months now and I want to throw it out the window.It takes a few minutes to connect to my phone. After it finally connects, the screen doesn’t always completely come on. Fifty percent of the time, actual map portion does not come on. I followed the installation instructions for the backup camera to come on when I put the camera in reverse. At first the image would show up on the screen, but there would be lines through the image. After a couple of days, the image would not show up at all. I would have to tap the camera icon to turn it on to see what was behind

This unit is a great upgrade to my 2017 Nissan Titan for the price!I purchased it to add wireless Android Auto to the factory stereo.The wireless android auto works flawlessly, and while I haven't installed the backup camera yet, I did plug it in and it looks way clearer than the factory unit!I had an unexpected surprise when I found that the unit also connects via Bluetooth through my phone to the factory radio; which means I can use the truck's steering wheel controls and radio buttons to make phone calls, change music etc.Another bonus is it shows what media is playing on the factory radio!

The cables provided for the backup camera are too short. We're using it on a standard sedan and it's not long enough to run from the camera location to the head unit. They'll ship you an extension for free but I don't understand why it can't just be ready to go out of the box.

it’s very worth it for the money, i hated having to look down at my phone for directions, i have a 2010 ford edge and i got a cd adapter and i love how it sits, only thing i dont like is having to unplug it every time i get out, very easy installation, i did the fm transmitter way and that was the easiest and it sounds amazing in my old car, the carplay automatically connects when you turn it on

Maybe I recieved a defective product, but this was the worst experience I’ve had with a touchscreen. Completely unresponsive from the moment I turned it on. Would randomly select areas far away from where I was trying to click. I was stuck in the settings menu multiple times and couldn’t get out because my touches were not being recognized accurately. I even accidentally started a teams meeting at work trying to navigate the menu and I never even touched the teams app. Complete garbage. Do not waste money or time on this.
