I am familiar with pogolab and have a couple of their wooden cajon style drums, but this is the first ocean drum of heirs that I've played.I'm a professional drummer and percussionist and lead many programs for meditation and mindfulness, as well as concert programs.     Swish. Swoosh. Tap. Tap. Shoom. Shoom. Shooooom.This ocean drum really lets me channel my neo-hippy nerd.Don't get me wrong, I truly like this thing. There is just a certain demographic that this sort of percussive instrument is aimed at and it's just not my scene. That said, this instrument simply asks the user to calm down and just vibe. Do you really need to do anything more than that? Sometimes that is just what you need in spite of some loosely associated fluffy woo yoga nonsense. To be sure, I'm all about mindfulness, I'm just not that into the whole patchouli mindset.This definitely has

    Beautiful Sound and Fun to Play

    I really like this ocean drum. The wave sound is calming, and it is easy to create different sounds by slowly tilting or moving the drum. The little beads inside make a nice rolling sound that reminds me of the ocean.I also like that it can be used as a regular percussion instrument. Tapping on both sides gives it a different sound, so it is more fun than a basic ocean drum.The 15-inch size feels large enough to make a full sound but is still easy to carry. The wooden design also looks nice. It is a great instrument for relaxing, yoga, meditation, or just making music for fun
