Worked right out of the box. It was easy to pair bluetooth with my phone and with the car. The screen came with a freestanding bracket with two sets of adhesive for attachment. It also came with a windshield mounted bracket that I did not use. I am not using the rear view camera because I already have one on my car. I paired it with a 12V switch so I can turn it on and off manually.I purchased this because I had bought another screen that claimed it had bluetooth access for phone and car simultaneously but actually did not.

With the price point of this device, I was unsure if it would work right. Lo and behold, it proved me wrong: this thing works great! Installation and setup weren’t too complicated; just click the screen into the mount, suction it to your dash, plug it in, connect Bluetooth, and CarPlay is already there! (Note: it comes with a backup camera, but I chose not to install it, so I don’t know the installation for it nor how well it works.) Update - the seller reached out and offered to replace the product. I did not take them up on it. However, since resoldering the USB port, it's worked flawlessly in every temperature of winter and summer. So a great product and service. This thing has been quite an awesome little Android Auto/Apple carplay unit for the price. Works well and connects to your phone very quickly after initial setup and connection to the unit. The screen quality is actually quite good for such a cheap unit, very crisp and clear, decent color reproduction and no issues seeing the screen even when it's very bright outside. This product has been great in my 2016 car. Have had it for 2 years now and it is still going strong. No real issues with functionality. Touch screen is responsive and bright enough during all conditions. Every once in a while it fails to connect and I have to unplug it then plug it back in. Given the price I paid, it is a very minor issue.
