Love our Samsung refrigerator apart from the ice maker continually freezing up. First the cube to crushed ice solenoid failed, then the auger motor. This unit contains both of those items. Be sure to thoroughly defrost/deice the ice maker to remove the unit as instructed on several YouTube videos.Not sure if this cures the icing problem but all works well for now.

My icemaker went back to leaking and making slush, not ice cubes. I had CHOICE HOME WARRANTY come out, paid them a $100 service call, and they brought a new part that took care of the problem. Being that the part I bought originally from Amazon, I assume it was a defective part, and it must still be under warranty. Will follow up with a call.

This has corrected my ice maker problem for now but it may be only temporary, time will tell.
had no ice in my Samsung fridge, would freeze up solid replaced this auger, left the old ice maker and it worked for now.
