Seasonic Vertex PX-1200 1200W Power Supply ATX 3.1 & PCIe 5.1 Ready

This is a great power supply for 1200W but it was a steep price. I want with another brand and after about two weeks that power supply went out so I decided to go with this brand since it been around for awhile and is a manufacturer of power supplies for other companies also. It still going strong over two or three months without any issues.I bought two of these, 1 for my son and the other for my computer and they both worked well. I would recommend buying these if your machines need 1200W or less power. This also comes with the 600W power supply cable and is the new standard for the Nvidia 40

UPDATE: When I originally ordered this PSU it was ATX 3.0 and my unit had some issues with mild coil whine even after a replacement. I switched to an NZXT C1500 and sold the original PSU to a friend. I had originally given the PSU a 4-star rating.I just changed my PC case to downsize my build foot print as such while the NZXT C1500 fit it was the maximum possible PSU length and I couldn’t reinstall the cable/SSD cover and so I decided to reordered this PSU. I was pleasantly surprised to see that its been refreshed and it’s now an ATX 3.1 with a 12VHPWR 2x6 it’s got a really distinct blue head

The power supply has no issues, everything worked in my desktop build. The 600 W connector had to be unplugged and plugged into the supply several times before it worked. The connection is very tight, and it wasn't fully inserted initially. After several attempts, it was fully inserted and flush with the surface.It would be nice to have covers for unused power connectors inside the case to prevent dust build up, at least for SATA and PCIe. The covers are hard to find.** The power cable is only around 4.8 feet, should be at least 6 feet. ** At least state the power cord length in the specs.

great PSU, easy to install and use. enough power to supply my 5090 and 9950 cpu. the customer service sent me ATX3.1 cable so no need to upgrade it.

As expected from Seasonic it works perfectly and has plenty of cables. The were nice enough to send me the updated power cable for my 5090 for the cost of shipping despite being past the 90 day cutoff from day of purchase. It hasn't melted yet after a couple months of gaming. Power supply is quiet and I don't notice it. As it should be.
