The motor itself is amazing. I’m using it in a mini lathe and it is perfect. But the included manual is for a slightly different firmware. And the motor shaft is tapered and I can’t find other pulleys for it.You can replace the foot control with a potentiometer. But beware, the ground is floating at 110v! So make sure to keep everything in an enclosure and well shielded.Pressing p and - together gives a display with 4 zeros. Increment that to 9999 and you unlock an enhanced menu. The last 3 parameters in that menu adjust the pedal offsets and linearity. You can use that to match your potentiom

I run a small upholstery shop and my servo motor fried during a power outage. The motor I had was $200, I was skeptical about this one. You shouldn’t be, it was delivered over night and works better than the name brand I’ve previously had. Very happy with my purchase. Ps: use a Surge Protector or UPS it will save you in the long run.

I gave it two stars because it does run but it only runs at 4500rpm when it should run at 6000rpm. I ordered a 750w 6000rpm motor with controller and despite the labels on motor and controller, I received a controller that's programmed for a 550w 4500rpm motor. The "instructions" that are included were wrong as well, the P-15 setting they say is for needle detect/not detect isn't, so I get a constant error code thrown for needle detection and can't turn that feature off. According to the provided instructions, P-15 should be either 1 for on or 0 for off, yet P-15 reads as 010 and cannot be adj

Works great! I replaced an old clutch motor on a 67 Adler and he runs like a champ! Now I can dial it down for slow, precise leatherwork, crank it up for production.

This is a great motor super powerful adjustable and quiet! I can’t speak to the longevity yet but everything tells me if IUsed smartly I see no reason for it to not be functional for a long time
