These are about the thickest woven baskets I've ever come across. It's like somebody took a jute rug, made it thicker and then turned it into a basket. These are great value for money since they will most likely last forever. They are pretty soft and very pleasing to the eye. There is nothing you will do to these to destroy them unless you're physically trying to. They are true to size as far as I can tell and we'll serve our purpose beautifully.
