Permanent installation with the hardware kit was made easy by including all 4 types of OEM fuse taps. Took about 2.5 hours to install and set up, one hour of which was just being a perfectionist about routing and hiding the wires I ran through the A and C pillars.Their choice of wire to interconnect the rear camera was great- it's flexible enough to bend tight corners, but stiff enough to not be easily pinched. It’s quite a bit of work to hardwire the power and route the rear camera wire, but so worth it!The 4K is amazing (I came from a 1080p dashcam) and this A329 has a ton of settings to dial in exactly how you want it to operate.The only thing id love to see changed is how long it keeps the impact videos during parking. I have mine set to hybrid for an hour. So when I get back into my vehicle, as soon as I close the door, I hear my dashcam chime telling me it just locked the “impact” video. This is an amazing dashcam with lots of awesome features! I would have given it 5 stars but the GPS module/mount for the front camera died one day after the Amazon return window closed. I contacted support and they were really quick to get back to me and start a ticket to send me a new GPS module. Warranty is 2 years if you register. Great quality, easy to install. I have 2 of these. I used the hardwire kit in both cars. The screen is plenty big. The app is easy to use. The video quality is excellent. I have saved a couple of videos of stupid driving and was able to read signs and the license plate. I only got the 2 camera systems, but have converted it to add the telephoto camera in one car. I will probably add the telephoto to the other. I should have ordered the telephoto to begin with.

Somewhat pricey, but very happy with the purchase. Installation was straightforward. The interface on the camera greatly simplified the configuration. The Viofo app installed and connected to the camera without incident. Overall, very satisfied. Video is really clear as is cabin audio. I've had literally no problems with the unit. It's been installed in my vehicle for about 3 months. I'd definitely recommend the two or three channel unit if you have the extra money to spend. So far I've been really happy with this VIOFO A329S dash cam.I had a previous camera in my truck but had really only purchased it to "test" the necessity.Once you have a camera in your vehicle you will ALWAYS have a camera :)The installation was pretty straight forward having done this once before, but it was only with a front-facing camera.This time though I did have to etch out a spot in the ceramic back window tint for the camera and UV lens.Well worth the effort.Good screen size, and not obtrusive at all.
