6-Minute Core Strength

Excellent guide. The exercises are thoughtfully presented and the online videos are a helpful bonus.

This is great for stability of your back

I really enjoy this book. I have a bone spur on L5 of my lowback. My chiropractor is moving the vertebrae to get the spur as far away from the spinal cord as possible. And I use this book to strengthen my inner core muscles and hip pelvic muscles so that I can keep my vertebree in alignment and stabilized. I hold my adjustments much better.I originally bought the book from this same author for 6 minute exercise for over 60 year old. I was so impressed that I searched to see if he had a book like this one and I wasn't disappointed.the book comes with bonuses including visualization meditation .

The exercises work for me

This is a great book. Performing the exercises in sequence are helpful thus far. Definitely recommended. The following three suggestions do not diminish the value of this book but would make this 5 stars for me: 1. an alphabetical index to both the book and the videos for easier searches, 2. a few more graphics of the exercises in the book so that we can see starting, middle and ending positions (single leg over stretch is an example where the video and the graphic divert) and 3. make the text about the videos more prominent to highlight the importance of the videos.

Perfect guide to start my core journey

I've always known having a strong core is important but never really known how to best approach improving mine. Sometimes I have very little accountability. XD I've tried to set goals like doing 100 sit ups a day and can't even make over a week. This book was an easy read that educated me and offers a variety of exercises for all levels. Definitely a better use of my energy and time.So I went through all the exercises just to learn the moves and I also watched the videos because I really want to have good form and that can be hard to achieve by yourself. Keep in mind there is a lot of highligh

Importance of core strength

I'm 21 years old and i focus on core strength 5 days out of the week but i was following makeshift programs and ideas for what a perfect workout should be. Not following a certain discipline ensuring proper training and trying not to injure myself. Although core strength might come to some as an easy task, far from it it could be easy if done properly. People work for years trying to perfect their core and not achieving it, however Dr. Su makes it easy and possible for everyone no matter the age or the body type, he does a phenomenal job of explaining and making sure you understand what you're

excellent book!

This book is absolutely excellent. There are workouts for varying levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced, all clearly illustrated and explained. The author has also provided free videos on the web to show how to do them as an extra bonus. Exercises are explained extremely well and have great graphics to illustrate. The exercises cover all aspects of the core: abs, back, hips, torso, shoulders. Yes, shoulders need to be included! The workouts include torso, back, knees, hips, posture and balance. Flexibility is also well covered. The section on how to do core bracing correctly is the best
