I have owned several versions of indoor grills which have never failed to disappoint. They have always had issues whether it was insufficient cooking space, or that you can't remove the plates in order to clean it effectively.This grill is a pretty large grill. The auto "doneness" indicator (e.g., rare, medium rare, medium) has not been accurate in my experience. Otherwise, the unit works great and is super easy to clean due to the removable grill plates. Quality is solid as usual for AllClad. Knocking off a star due to indicator issue.

We cook bacon, steaks, chicken, burgers, etc, and with the “AutoSense”addition gives us close to perfect temperature on our selected meats and vegetables. This is okay but I cook a lot of burgers. It cooks fast and clean up is easy but the lid is heavy and the burgers came out dry. It's to expensive for dry burgers. I had no problem returning this and they refunded me shortly after dropping it off at UPS. It does work great for sandwiches.
