I bought the hard cover edition of the book. The book consists of an Introduction, 12 chapters, a Notes section and an Index. The chapters are relatively short and easy to read. The prose is well written and seems to be well thought out. I did not find any grammatical mistakes. Prospective readers should note that this is not a technical book. There are no graphs or figures, nor any mathematical formulas, nor any discussion of atmospheric or ocean chemistry or physics. Look, if you desperately want to believe the world will end from climate change within decades, this book will not change your mind any more than any of the other reputable science out there. Just read the handful of negative reviews, which are all from people who clearly are too entrenched in what they believe to objectively look at any facts. This iis an excellent book on getting to the details environmental conditions of what is affecting the lives and pooulations animal, bird, aquatic species, incets, plants and humans. It supports the position that it is necessary to examine specifics rather than slogans like "the science is settled" in describing the continually varying weather and climate.
