I’ve been really impressed with the Audeze Maxwell 2. The sound quality is excellent, with a lot of detail and really good separation between different sounds. I mainly use them on PS5, and with 3D Audio enabled, the positional audio in games like Battlefield is amazing. The initial update was kinda slow and scary (I'm paranoid about bricking HW) but there were zero issues, just had to be patient, and afterwards everything worked perfectly.2) The voice that narrates settings (like "power on", "power off") has a volume setting in the Audeze program. These headphones are extremely dissatisfying for both the price and the specs. I am returning my pair as I write this as the headset has numerous issues.Chief among these issues is that the headset actively, and constantly produces a "hissing" and beeping sound at ALL TIMES when the pair are on. It is impossible make it go away. Audeze stated it would get better with firmware updates but that is not acceptable. Even after updating them they continued to make the noise.
