I could write a book about how much I love this book. Our family has been using the tools in this book for a while. I have seen deeper levels of regulation and resiliency since my daughter has started to use the disordered event log. With two kids on the spectrum, proactive scheduling of retreat breaks allow better transitions back into the house from the neurotypical world. Interesting perspective about Autism and very relevant and timely. The metaphors are really vivid in this book and the illustrations are incredible. Definitely have a newfound respect for caregivers and found the strategies in the book to be supportive. Need more time to implement but will keep these ideas in mind.
