I bought this machine as a stop-gap because I had to leave my high-end Bernina machine behind when I moved from Europe to the US. I hope to ship it over next year. In the meantime, I want to keep sewing and quilting and so I bought the Bernette B05 Academy to use for the time being. I am very happy with it. It works perfectly well and comes with a nice range of accessories. It is solid and well-made and the motor seems powerful. I love the extension table. Two things were missing for me that I had to purchase separately: a dust cover and a 1/4 inch presser foot. I would highly recommend this m

I bought this as a replacement for my 40+ year old Elna that needed parts and a cleaning. I have been very happy with its performance so far. I'm just home sewing person not a professional. When I couldn't get the automatic threader to work I contacted the seller and they were extremely helpful and we were able to determine that it was damaged. They sent out the new part fairly quickly, couldn't have been easier to work with. Very happy with my purchase and the follow up with the seller.

I never take the time to write reviews but my experience with is machine disappointed me. I thought I would love this machine. I have sewn on a Bernina for over 30 years. Since Bernette is a division of Bernina, I expected this machine to be similar. The reviews were good.The tension never worked on this machine, no matter the setting. The top thread was loopy no matter how I adjusted it.

I very much much like the machine! Wish it had a more detailed Manuel with it.

I'd never used or owned a Bernette before this machine. I am absolutely amazed at the quality, the stitch speeds (it is variable between slower for beginners and faster for more experienced sewists....turtle and rabbit on the speed selector). Threading the machine is so easy, and it just performs amazingly! The one minor downside, if you want to call it that, is that it is on the loud side, but that is to be expected with a motor powerful and fast enough for 1100 stitches per minute. If you're new to sewing and have the budget, definitely look at this machine, or its sister the B05 Crafter. Yo

Awesome machine. I bought this because my daughter took sewing class recently and they had this sewing machine. She loves it and I love seeing her continue to sew stuff. Very nice machine.

I did'nt like that it would'nt work in theslow mode,it took off fast and coul'nt control to slow speed. I am very disapointed in the machine and would like a refund.Roberta Davis

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought it for my 8 year old grandchild. It is a great heavy duty, mechanical machine that is easy to use and will still work for many years to come, and the price was right. It has a nice selection of presser feet and tools, and a warranty.
