I had to take a moment after reading this to really gather my thoughts. Overall, the banter and compatibility between our leading lady and man was, no surprise, enjoyable and engaging. wasn’t expecting to love this as much as i did (thank you charlie sampson). honestly i wasn’t totally feeling it in the first 50 pages but that totally changed and i found myself completely invested. so glad i stuck with it bc while the mmc sorta annoyed me at first (just in the first airport scene(s)) boy did that change LOL. he turned out so sweet, funny, and charming and i found myself absolutely loving his character. as for the story itself i found it really cute and loved the chemistry between the mcs. though there were a lot of similarities, i actually liked this book more than bttm!!

Another winning Painter love story. The slow burn from enemies to friends made it hard to put this one down. The banter between Charlie and Bailey had me literally laughing out loud more than once. The best part was the way they were both there for each other. Charlie is my new book boyfriend.

I love going into books blind because you always get surprised at each step. This one was a high school romance about coworkers not friends becoming lovers I mean people in love.It was a quick read with real life situations and very relatable.
