Bosch 800 Series 30 in 5 Burner Element Slide-in Electric Range in Stainless Steel with True Convection Oven and Self-Cleaning HEI8056U

Very nice. Like the oven vent is at the back, not by the handle. Sleek looks. Touch pad is very sensitive, so we have to keep the child lock on. And you can lower to just touching the countertop. But do not so low it places weight on it. Warming drawer is nice. We use it for storage of non melting skillets, just in case the heat element is turn on by mistake.After 3 months, happy we selected this one.

DO NOT BUY THIS RANGE! It is finicky and delicate. The cooktop stops working if you spill water on it (which happens frequently). The oven does not work at all. Whenever we try to bake it errors out with a E201 error and stops working. You have to try to reset the oven at the electric panel, or sometimes just wait an hour for it to resolve itself. We've reached out to Bosch (with no response), and paid a service technician $500 to install a new electric board on the range - but it keeps happening. Bosch is non-responsive and I want other buyers to be aware and avoid our very expensive mistake.

I purchased the predecessor to this range (HEI8054U) in 2014 and came to love the features. I recently repurchased its replacement (HEI8056U). Like other reviews have said the unit had initial problems and customer service is not easy to deal with so its important to document ALL issues and communications with the range and CS. [The main board was replaced within the first year under warranty, the convection fan failed in 2021 but we didn't fix due to cost, the bake element was replaced this year ($265 P&L) and then the main board went out again a few weeks ago.]I considered the GE Cafe and Be
