Charbroil Portable Convective 1-Burner Propane Gas Grill - 465133010

Bought this grill for my dirt bike trail riding/racing trips. Most riding places here in the PNW only allow gas cooking as the fire hazard increases when the riding season approaches. We went to the desert 100 race with a small charcoal pit only to find out that we couldn't use it. Everyone else there had some type of gas cooking devise, griddles, pits, etc... Soooo....I bought this one. I've only used it once as I just got it. I put it to the test with chicken thighs, bone in and skin on.Heat distribution - This seems fine but as with all pits you'll have some hot spots. Nothing too crazy on

Product was exactly as specified and what I expected. Was lery about the product from other reviews but other than running a little hotter than I expected the grill has been excellent for the last year. The metal is a lot lighter gage than the original model, and just seems cheaper, however I use it at least once every 2 weeks.

Bought this two years ago on a "warehouse" deal, was even cheaper. Didn't want to carry a larger nicer grill in my small RV all the time.This would be a great to use a lot for a season, then leave it, but it seems to last OK even though it is cheaply made of mild steel.I don't clean it, I just use it.The wire legs fold up nicely, the handles work well.One complaint though, the black coating on the shell inside and outside, I assume some kind of high heat paint, tends to burn on the inside and peel off. I guess as it's burning it's off gassing to the food? I don't know, won't kill me.There seem

Let's face it, this grill is intended for camping or beach use. It is very compact, saving space when you need it. And for the very low cost and small size, it does a great job for the intended purpose. This is our second one of these. The old one still worked, but after 20 years it was grungy and flame eroded, even though it still worked. So for such a low price I retired it and replaced it. The sheet metal is lighter than the 20 year old version, but they have added the heat dispersion grate to help with grease flareups, so if anything the design has just gotten better.

This grill ruined my 4th of July weekend. Save your cookout, campout or whatever, and buy something else.The most egregious of the many faults of this grill (cheap almost-fits-together construction, plastic and rubber used for heat-sensitive areas like the top handle, a regulator that is more of an on/off switch than a dial, and legs that interfere with the placement of the propane bottle in the regulator so its never quite secure or sturdy on the table - and yes, you need a table because a Coleman 1lb. bottle hangs down 6-8 inches below the legs) is the total lack of heat control or distribut

Seems fine. I was surprised at how thin the metal was and how the overall build quality has slipped from what I was expecting and accustomed. Thin metal, plastic handles, and generally lower quality. Seems as if it is built to be replaced after a season(or less). It cooks but seems it was not built to last.
