Consew CP206R Portable Walking Foot Machine

I purchased it to sew lightweight freeze cloth together to protect plants. The material is similar to light felt or thick cheesecloth. The unit broke within 2 hours and 100 linear feet of use. The unit would only work in reverse and not forward.I called a local repair tech recommended by two upholstery shops. The quote was for $100. The forward reverse fork broke and this was a major component. The tech and both shops I talked to told me that this model is a poor example of the brand and to pay more and upgrade to a larger machine.I filed a return request and after more than a week, I have rec

It was shipped fast, unfortunately it is not plug and play. This was my first experience with portable walking foot maxhine, the manual have little help so if you have no experience w this machine it can be frustrating to the point you think this machine is not working. I did. But after few research and fine tuning, I did manage it to work like I wanted. It sew thick nylon scuba webbing without a hitch. Great customer feedback also from the seller. If theres any cons, it's the cosmetics. Some are flaking and chipping off.

It's a good machine for the low price. The belt is very tight, making the motor work at the start of sewing each seam. I oiled it as soon as it arrived, then let it set a few days. The first thing I sewed was deer hide. After a few tension adjustments it was perfect. I am happy with my purchase. My sewing machine repair person is also happy, She says it is easy to get parts for Consew. I wore my last walking foot machine out in 4 years because I use it so often. I expect at least a million miles out of this. :-)

Case not so good, but sewing machine is fine.

Not the quality machine I expected from an industrial brand. Sending it back. Sharp unfinished edges, even when oiled throughout, very rough metal/metal action. The feet that come with will cut marks onto softer vinyls or leathers. Idea is great, details arent there. The reverse lever is a pain to use and bring back to original forward stitch measure. It'll work in a pinch and sews through multiple layers.

Its a wonderful machine,perfect for boat Canvas work,it can sew Sunbrella canvas,awning Vinyls,Upholstery fabric,its a very powerful Machine and its very heavy,its not light........

For a portable machine this works pretty well. I have sewn auto seat covers fairly well. It is a bit lacking in space for getting multiple layers with foam under the presser foot. Ultimately, it is a good solution for the DIY/ hobbyist who doesn't have the space for a table and full industrial machine.

case was wrong one parts had to be replaced I would send it back but needed to get our work done spent 100$ for fix it then it stoped again disappointed !
