Purchased this to be part of a starter (first apartment) hand sewing kit. The wide array of colors is great---just the thing when a button falls off or a skirt needs the hem fixed (when Mom isn't there to help). The amounts of thread are fine for the hand sewing project--but probably not enough for most sewing machine uses. Suggest using a rubber band to keep the box securely closed. Strong thread beautiful colors would buy again if needed

I like the colors and quality of the thread. However, the spools are even smaller than expected, probably only a quarter the size of a regular spool.

Met my needs and beyond! Needed quickly for a project with a tight timeline and a tricky color match. Delivered right on time and the thread was an exact color match. Have already used one of the other colors for an overdue repair. Good quality thread, excellent color range, practical and durable storage box. Very satisfied!

These spools of thread are really small. See my two pictures for size comparison. Although small, they’re beautiful. I see this as a sampler pack and not a starter pack. You might get only one or two use max out of the spools. Durability wise, it breaks but you need to put some effort into it. So it’s good for sewing and will last a bit. I think having a larger sampling of thread like this helps a new person figure out what they want and focus on spending money on that specific color. Overall, I’m disappointed by the size but it’ll do the job for me.

This has a great variety of colors and is durable thread from SINGER and I wouldn't buy anything else. Just wish they were bigger spolls.
