I bought these to replace my Corsair Void Pro headset that have had the 'quiet mic' issue for a while now.I was hesitant to get another Corsair headset due to the mic issues, but it seems like it's 50/50 on that no matter which brand you go with, so I pulled the trigger.First off, the whole reason I caved and got a new headset in the first place, is because my work headset completely died. For those who are deciding between this headset and other prevalent devices, choose this one. These are great. I have a difficult time getting a headset that is comfy as I wear glasses. This is the only one I have found that does not press the glasses to my head. Very comfy, does go around the ears nicely. The strap on top keeps the headset from dropping down on my head. The lift up "mic off" is wonderful and easy to use instead of having to find a button to shut off the mic.

The mic is much louder than my prior headset, Corsair VOID. Though it still requires a bit of boost. That said, this headset has good sound quality (for a usb gaming headset) and they are really comfortable. The only issue I have is the headband isn't quickly adjustable. The upside is it will stay the same from use to use, unlike some that will expand/contract and you'd have to adjust often. The downside is there is some trial error and finicking to get the sizing right. Not a major downside.Another plus is the volume is a wheel, versus buttons. This makes for quick adjustment of volume. I give these headphones a 6/10. For the value, simplicity in design. They are ok "only". Mass Drops PC38X has been my gold standard for a few years but I like to experiment as I see reviews. I really wanted an excellent mic, but this only gets around 40% volume in windows using the "test" feature. Where as the PC38x scores 100%. Its night and day, I was hoping the wired, USB-C would bridge that gap. But nope. Like WAY beyond expectations.comfortable for all day use.Dolby that is comes with is great, because the corsair EQ is defective as of the begnning of 2025.It will not turn off volume modulation, which is horrible.The only complaint that I have, is there is not enough base.The sound is great, but there is no boom.The mic is fantastic.I would rate these as 95 out of 100.To get a better headset its going to be well over $300.On a side note, I have bought 3 pairs. Me and my 2 boys are all rocking these.

bought these november 2022, required third party software to sound decent, about 6 months in the earmuffs were torn and falling off and needed to be replaced, 8 months in the cord started falling apart and getting frayed despite taking care of them, and now 11 months in, being less than a year old, they have stopped functioning completely besides going on and off every few seconds and making buzzing noises while plugged in. complete and utter waste of a hundred bucks, either dont bother with these completely or possibly get the wireless version instead....update: do NOT get the wireless versio
