Absolutely love this griddle! The only problem is that the phone app doesn't work with most modern Wi-Fi because it only works on the 2.4 gigahertz Wi-Fi, but you can still always turn it on using the controls on the front of it and you can set the timer if you want or you can leave it alone and just run the griddle with the temperature with no timer. Just upset about the Wi-Fi thing because I set it up with one phone and then I deleted it off of that phone and couldn't do it on my new phone because it uses the newer Wi-Fi signals and can't separate the frequencies. One thing I kept seeing in reviews was discussion about preheat time, so I went into this expecting it to take a little longer than a gas griddle. After a few uses, I can honestly say it's a non-issue.Yes, it takes some time to fully preheat, but once it gets there, the heat consistency is outstanding. That's actually what impressed me most about this griddle. The entire cooking surface stays evenly heated, and I don't have to constantly move food around to avoid hot spots or cold spots.We've cooked everything from smash burgers and fajitas to breakfast spreads with eggs, bacon, and pancakes.
