I love cooking small things in this. It’s great for portion control or when you don’t want to heat up and mess up a larger skillet or air fryer with greasy or messy foods. It perfectly fits six little chicken nuggets, a few tater tots or smashed potatoes, or exactly one chicken thigh. Both cook perfectly. Easy cleanup too.Word of caution: Both plates get super-hot and you must resist the urge to touch them or move them with your hands once you’ve plugged it in. I’ve learned my lesson on that one. I have had the waffle maker for years & adore it. This pancake maker creates nice pancake top but bottom is puffy & weird. I make my own pancake flour mix from NT Times Cookbook so it's great. Never misses. But almost donated this - hard to find stove top griddles without the non-stick surface - don't like microplastics with my maple syrup.Skip this one.
