BlueTipz is the first and only strike alert system on the market that will send an alert to an angler’s smartphone. Network reception is not required as BlueTipz uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology in order to communicate with the receiving device, whether that’s a user’s phone (free app, Android/iOS) or the included BlueTipz Receiver. The BlueTipz Receiver can be used to increase the operating range of your BlueTipz network.

In this case, the Receiver would be positioned in between an angler’s BlueTipz Transmitter and their phone. The angle at which the Transmitter triggers is also programmable through the mobile app, making it compatible with tip-ups, traps, tip-downs, rattle reels, set rods for bank/dock fishing, etc.

    Work great!

    Got these for my sister for Christmas. We finally got out fishing and these work great. We're at around 300 feet using the booster so the range is good but we're not really out as far as we could be. Overall a great product so far.

    Great product, but may not work in very cold temps

    Great product and great customer service. The transmitter did not work in sub zero temps for me though.

    Great Product - Awesome Customer Service

    I've bought 12 transmitters and 2 receivers over the last 3 years. These are great products and when there are issues, they are very responsive and quick to fix those issues. Very impressive business!
