I have a couple of new dashcams that haven't been installed in anything yet. But, I recently picked up a new car and I didn't want to tap into anything and potentially void my electrical warranty.I got the DJI Osmo Action 6 to use as a dashcam. I also purchased the round base with two-sided tape for mounting. I put velcro on the bottom of the base (I did not peel off the plastic) and then stuck it on my dash cover. It vibrates a little when I'm on bumpy roads, but if it ends up bothering me, I'll just mount it on the back of my infotainment housing (it would reduce visibility a little).So far,

Bought this within a week of it being released for a mountain biking vacation. I only had a couple weeks to get used to it after not using any action camera in 10+ years. I wish I had a couple more weeks to get up to speed but I still managed to get amazing videos I will cherish for life. I went with dji for the battery life and it didn't disappoint. Everybody else was definitely messing with batteries much more than i was. My last action cam was a Hero 3, so I probably would have been trilled with just about any modern camera but again, the battery life! I can't recommend enough.
