DOSS SoundBox Ultra Bluetooth Speaker, 2.1 Channel Audio, Deep Bass - Grey

I have to basically rewrite this review... update as follows:I tried this speaker again after receiving a warranty replacement of one that had been damaged during shipment and making noise the whole time of use but finally affecting sound. But the new speaker sounds amazing whether you use Bluetooth or aux connection. I cannot believe how good this truly sounds and now I am a true fan of Doss and their fine products as this is their third model that I own and love completely.This is an easy speaker to use, set up and operate. Great product. Buy two for seamless stereo bluetooth awesomeness. This product is a great reminder of how the "ceritifaction" of "High Definition" audio is meaningless. You won't find any gimmicky "certification" labels on this product. It just sounds great and runs a really really really long time on one charge.

This is an amazing 'portable' speaker. It has a quite large size which makes it hard to bring to places, but for casual listening it lasts long and it sounds phenomenal. It sounds good enough for one to notice songs that are lower quality vs songs that are very high in quality which is a first for speakers tried personally. That makes it an 8.5 out of 10 for me, and especially in its price range. I reccomend one. The only thing unfortunate is to get the max bass out of it you need to set it in a mode for bass and configure an EQ for bass, and that makes the audio sound slightly distorted(muddy

Very very disappointed. I have had nothing but headaches with this unit. I wanted to try something different and decided to go with DOSS. The volume that this unit puts out is nothing short of terrible and embarrassing . The unit constantly drops Bluetooth connection. I will never purchase another DOSS unit. I decided to return it and got screwed because the manufacturer said there was a damage fee which I did not cause. Stay away from DOSS products they are complete garbage.

UPDATE: I bumped my review up to 4 stars because shortly after leaving my initial 2-star review I was contacted directly by the support service and they were VERY helpful in arranging a settlement of my initial dissatisfaction with the product and I was extremely pleased with their direct and prompt after-sales service. It is a great 👍 speaker with plenty of volume.It appears to be very well made in Germany and England as point of manufacturing.The battery does last 18 hours.I wish there would have been a little red light on the front, when it is on, like there is on the back when it is plugged in.It makes a very quiet tone on start up and shut down.Overall, for what it costs, it is a bargain!

I originally purchased one of thse and fell immediately in love with the quality and sound/ So I ended up purchasing the second one. Easy to pair to my TV. The sound quality is rich and delivers low bass when my shows call for it. I am extremely pleased with their performance, quality and ultimately the price.

You have to keep turning the speaker on if you get up and then come back to your computer and want to have sound, it autho shuts off. ANNOYING. Otherwise, great speaker, wonderful sound but this makes no sense at all.
