DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake (NSW)

SQUEE!!! I loved this remake! The graphics facelift of the HD-2D remake were gorgeous! added content made for a new experience. Characters are all custom per DQIII. Reliving my childhood with a new twist was awesome!

I picked up a Nintendo Switch Lite back in 2020, when this was announced. I had no idea it'd take 4 years, but it was worth the wait, and the wait wasn't just for a new coat of paint. Sure, the graphics were greatly overhauled, and are wonderful. I played each of the main Dragon Quest games since the release of the original Dragon Warrior, and I've enjoyed each one. I was curious to try this one given the overall refresh of gameplay, graphics, and story.Overall I'm impressed.Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake provides an opportunity to revisit the iconic Dragon Quest III but in a modern and refreshing manner. Great Port!Ready you classic game enthusiasts? It’s great, the choice test at the beginning made me go back three times just to see which one I could get. The soundtrack is amazing. The graphics are great for a 2.5 HD anyway one issue is there doesn’t seem to be a diagonal sprite, but that’s not that big deal all in all great game highly recommended!
