I have every version of this game from the original to iPad to psp and now Switch. First the bad news the extra content from the psp edition are gone and modern gamers may not like the linearity there done. Now the good news is the quality of life additions and a free update to make it enhanced on switch 2 with AI so much better that all the old tricks don’t work, It also comes with the original so it’s 2 games in one yes they are the same but having the ability to play both and compare is great. I never got a chance to play the original, so I can't offer a comparison on thay front, but I can honestly say that that is one of the best Strategy RPGs I've ever played. The story is incredible, with a deep, lore rich world snd the political intrigue is top notch. I'm so glad I finally picked this up.I've been resisting for decades.Loved it and was sad once it was over.I was worried about the graphics but thankfully the voice acting story and gameplay kept this game interesting until the end.

As a fan that bought the original game on the PlayStation on the day it came out many years ago (and have sunk untold hours into dozens of playthroughs) I never thought that the day would come where you could enjoy the game on a modern console (that is not a phone). I feel incredibly lucky that this remake ever got made, and all of the quality of life stuff does nothing but enhance the enjoyment.
