This is a mechanical, not computerized machine. Metal parts, hand-turned dials. I haven’t used it much yet, but will be a good machine for heavier work. ( It’s called the denimMachine..). Not a million stitches, but plenty for most things
Great sewing machine
I have had this machine 10 months. It stopped working after about 4 months. Sent it back with a prepaid label & they repaired it. Now it has stopped working again. Different problem this time. When it works it is great but I have never had a machine breakdown so quickly!
After having my machine for only 6 weeks the reverse function stopped working. I contacted the dealer for warranty info and was told a prepaid label would be sent to return it for repairs. I do not want to do that because there is no guarantee I would get it back in a timely manner or if ever. Also I no longer have the box and packing material and it would be difficult to pack it to avoid damage during shipping. I also contacted Elna and was told the original dealer is the only one that can do the warranty work. There’s plenty of repair places near me that’s qualified to work on Elna products.
