I unable to have an exhaust vent over my stove and this exhaust fan works beautifully.

In all honesty I wasn't sure how necessary or useful this would really be. But this is a quality made,rechargeable basically exhaust system that is portable. And it is very effective,especially in small or confined spaces. When cooking in the van, I usually have the overhead vent open and thought that was enough. And for reducing smoke,absolutely it was. But what about grease or smell? That stickiness that builds up on the backsplash? Well with this it's basically like a smoke eater from the 80's. It draws in the smoke,catches the grease and smell filters out the air and it's clean coming out

I like this exhaust fan. It really works. I don't feel like taking a video to prove it, but the steam and fumes from the skillet travel right at this when it's on, and grease actually builds up in the grease trap too, so you know it's working. Your exhaust fan under your microwave doesn't have a grease trap, so where's it going?? This one catches it! I always use high speed, because why not.My only complaint is that it's too short. Even extended upward all the way, it's just too short. It needs to be another 6" taller to really catch the majority of steam/smoke/fumes as they're quickly rising

The idea behind this portable range hood is great, especially for small spaces or temporary cooking setups, but in practice it just isn’t strong enough. Even on the highest speed, the suction struggles with anything more than very light steam. Frying, searing, or anything that actually produces more smoke quickly overwhelms it. a little loud air flow is lacking. it did pull smells decently well.Portability and ease of use are nice, and I like the adjustable angle and easy cleaning with the oil cup, but those features don’t matter much if it can’t do the core job.
