    Great filter- little expensive, reliable

    This filter is a little expensive as a filter, but minimizes contamination from faucets. After the water is filtered, great tasting drinking water. Just remember- never replace filter cartridges right away, you must soak the filter for two days in an empty pitcher filled with tap water. This allows the carbon black filter to start activation and slowly releases the black carbon into water. Never drink your Brita water without using a side pitcher and soak for two days before new installation into the actual Brita pitcher!
