Needed to add a solar camera and the outside location I had in mind did not have an outlet close by.So decided on this Galayou R6 solar cam based on its reasonable cost and 5 star reviews.First, I will not tolerate a cam with outside location connectivity issues. I really like this camera. The picture quality is very sharp, and the 360-degree viewing makes it easy for me to see everything around the area where it is installed.It uses the Wansview app, which was very easy to set up. Installing the app on my phone only took about three minutes, and connecting the camera to my home Wi-Fi took less than 10 minutes. So far, so good. The installation was easy and straightforward. It’s great to have a solar panel so I don’t have to recharge batteries or hard wire. It comes with a long cable that attaches the solar panel to the camera. The only problem I’ve had is that the motion detection is very sensitive. Leaves fluttering in the wind set the camera off. Otherwise no issues.

I have activated 2 of the 4 cameras I purchased and I am very happy with them. Easy setup, easy mounting, and easy operation. I don't have enough experience with the SD Card recording to express an opinion on that aspect of the cameras operation. Video is crystal clear & good in low light. Panning is easier & more responsive than on other panning cameras I have had. WIFI connectivity is much better than other wireless cameras I have had with the signal easily passing through several walls w/o any problem. The solar power allows installation anywhere! However, motion detection is intermittent.

Camera quality is good but solar panel does not hold a charge. Would not recommend.

Great picture. Great solar charging with Texas sun. One big downside is the "auto tracking" is terrible because of the other problem, the motors are REALLY slow. So set it up and look around if your really need to, don't expect the auto tracking to track much except shadows in the wind.
