Coming from an Asrock Z77 Extreme this is an amazing upgrade. This feels like a sturdy little motherboard and runs really cool. I had no issues updating the bios for the AMD Ryzen 5500. The only real issue is the amount of fans you can plug in but that is easily fixed with a splitter cable. I had no issues installing in my NZXT Guardian. The speed and how cool the mobo stays is impressive, I've no overheating issues or thermal throttling. It has plenty of ports for connecting the essentials, with a good mix of USB 2.0 and 3.0. My GTX 1070 performs perfect with this board.

Good motherboard for a pc

Solid. With DDR5 Ram prices going through the roof- this board represents a viable alternative for a capable entry level PC which is based on the AM4 platform which is mature and stable. This board simply works, no bells and whistles, just gets the job done at an attractive price. I am pleased with this purchase.

I love budget Gigabyte boards but the places they cut corners make having more than a few drives and cd burners tough. The micro ATX layout makes it mostly impossible to add a video card. Compared to other mfgs in the budget arena, there are only 4 SATA ports and you loose 2 with two m2 sticks. You can get a pcie addon, but you get an additional boot screen while the card initiates. This board is stable and a good match to my AMD 3200G and 3500G. I like Gigabyte's control panel. Board was stable and worked well with Linux and windows dual boot. Used it for a new build gaming computer. Got it for low cost-HIGH performance, RELIABILITY! It is a superb deal. use a NVMe base drive for OS and games.
