I bought this to pair with an AMD 8500g. I knew going in that I would have to update the bios before the processor would work, but the price was right. Got the motherboard and attempted to update the BIOS, the process is fairly straightforward but there is really no vendor documentation that I could find besides 3 steps listed on the marketing page of their website.Well followed the steps and nothing happened. Looked up Youtubes and they provided additional detail that the process is very dependent on the USB stick and how it is formatted. I was using an older USB 2.0 formatted as FAT32 which

It’s a budget itx motherboard it works but the front header connector is pretty weird though , had to put adapter front header connector to get it to work with my sff case . Overall I’m happy with the board

Bought this budget motherboard for sff build. So far the mobo works as intended. One thing to note if you purchase this board for your build. Make sure to q-flash a bios compatible with your cpu. Find your bios in the manufacturers website with the right mobo rev. number on your board. I had to flash the latest bios compatible with a ryzen 9000 series cpu. Mobo will not work right out the box. Your welcom in advance. So far satisfied with this budget mobo.

Sadly, the A620 ASRock m-ITX board is still unavailable from Amazon. I hope they start carrying it soon because this Gigabyte board is a big disappointment.Pros:1. It's mini-ITX and says Gigabyte.Cons:1. Build quality - even though ITX boards cost a premium, that doesn't mean it should cost extra AND be cheaply built. This board feels cheap and looks cheap in person.2. Less features - compared to the ASRock A620 board that's similarly priced, the ASRock gives more features and options.3. Seems to be of a high standard of manufacture. Easy to install and it booted and worked immediately. I used a Noctua NH-L9a-AM5 Low-Profile CPU Cooler and this fitted easily in the iStarUSA 1U chassis with enough clearance for airflow.However this mini-ITX board has overall poor airflow with the memory cards blocking air coming from the front of the chassis and the solid backpanel blocking airflow at the rear of the board. As a result it's not really possible to use the NVMe M.2 2280 slot on top of the chipset heatsink as the NVMe card runs very hot. 72C continuously. It's having to deal with

An alright board for my budget travel pc. Easy to update BIOs. No PBO so choose your CPU or cooler wisely for whatever case you using. Over all gets the job done!

Works as it should

This board is just OK. I know it's an A-series board, but it's bare bones by even that standard. It only has 1 M.2 slot, while other A620i boards have a second one on the back of the board. Though, it does at least have the standard ITX two SATA 6Gb/s slots, so at least you can still hook up another drive. Still, a second M.2 would be welcome, but that could realistically be overlooked.However, what makes this board a 2-star board for me is the included RealTek 8852 Wifi "6E" adapter. This adapter is terrible, it gets about 1/4 to 1/3 of the speed I'm supposed to get on my cable internet plan.
