Greenpan Elite 7-in-1 Contact Grill & Griddle with Ceramic Nonstick Plates

I've been in search of an indoor grill for awhile now. I've been back and forth between brands and features. The most important to me what the health factor, I don't want to cook on anything leaching chemicals. Secondly I wanted something that had a high temp to reproduce an outdoor grill as much as possible. Third, I wanted something that did more than just grill. I am so happy that I selected this one. I had high hopes for this waffle iron, especially at a price point north of $200. For the first three months, using it about once a week, it performed well and felt solidly built. Unfortunately, that changed abruptly when the power button stopped working completely—rendering the unit useless. For a premium product, you’d expect far more durability.While product defects can happen, what’s truly disappointing is the lack of proper customer support. I submitted a warranty claim expecting a straightforward replacement or refund, but weeks later, I’ve received neither—nor even a meaningful response

I love this so much I bought a second. My friends who come to eat say “why do we even need pans anymore?” The clean up is so so so much easier. Get two! One for the veggies (broccoli with cheese, asparagus, potato hash or French fries) and one for the protein portion (veggie sausage links, veggie burgers, veggie dogs, tofu with teriyaki sauce, etc) We love being able to set it, walk away, and come back to a fully cooked meal. Just set up a grain ahead like rice or pasta. INSANE how much this has transformed my meals. I cannot tell you how amazing the panini sandwiches are, either. PRO restaura

It works well, but they should have designed some type of guard around the edges to prevent grease from spattering out the sides.

Absolutely LOVE this item!!! I'm telling everyone I can about it. It made the most beautiful waffles and I'm able to feed an army with that griddle! I can pound out 8 grilled cheese sandwiches in 5 minutes! Seriously. So worth the money! It was hard to swallow in the beginning, haha but you won't regret it. And to have a nonstick appliance in my kitchen without the toxins is the icing on the cake. So much peace of mind!

The best thing about this griddle are the cooking plates. They do a much better job of cooking meat, eggs, pancakes, etc. without food sticking to the hot plates, with no added oils, etc. than others I’ve used. The controls are not as obvious as others, and, as I recall, the documentation was not as helpful as it could be. Still, once I figured everything out the controls work well.

This was so wild. Every time I used the cream-colored Greenpan version there would be a spot of black. I was confused. Then each time I used it, it would happen again. Basically, the cream "paint" was disappearing when I took a wet wash cloth to it to gently wipe. I guess it was so weak of paint contact it just bubbled up when the unit was heated and then wiped off. I contacted customer service, and they just said Hey you bought it at Amazon so return the entire thing. What a waste. They seemed to be aware that the cream color has this issue and didn't care. We LOVE this! It was a gift for my wife for Christmas. We bought it on sale at her request and once she opened it and started using it she hasn't stopped. Very Easy to clean! I create a crusty mess on the griddle, cheese and stuff that comes out of my creations and cooks hard on the griddle a lot, and it wipes right off.
