Greenworks 40V 13 in String Trimmer & 350 CFM Blower Combo, 2.0 Ah Battery

An absolute beast! Perfect for average suburban lot size-and lotsa power! Blower is pretty quiet but efficient-very satisfied with both after fighting with gas powered for years! Battery charges pretty quickly as well=a plus! Highly recommend(bought as companion to my 80v Greenworks lawnmower!

Great little weed eater and blower cuts grass and weeds with no problems, blower works good, both are quiet and light weight

I bought this with as the combo kit. This review is just for the weed whacker and blower using a 40 v batters 2.0 AH. Weed Whacker appears to use a metal spoil. I have been using the plastic kind for years. It worked on one battery charge for about 5 minutes. Same battery charge I used the blower to clean up the grass and dirt. Dry dirt it was strong enough to blow. Loose grass it could blow. Heavy grass with dirt from edging with my other tools and wet dirt nothing would budge. I got this when it was on sale making it an even better deal. The leaf blower blows strong enough for most jobs around the house. The trimmer does a great job. It is a bit longer and heavier than some corded trimmers. The handle is adjustable to help position it for your own comfort level. So far these have been great products for me.

The weed eater itself is fine but the battery life is miserable. It died about half way through edging my yard, I have a standard Charlotte nc yard. And it have the nerve to come with a blower like you'll be able to use both lol. Make sure you buy a second battery. Other than that. It's fine, I don't like that you have to go to the reel to extend more line, wish it was the kind that you can push the bottom on the ground to extend but that's a minor inconvenience

I am truly impressed with this product. I reluctantly purchased after being so frustrated with my Troy Bilt gas powered string trimmer and blower. I spend so much time just trying to get them to start, then when they finally do start, they are very poor performance wise, in comparison to the Greenworks. And so much louder and heavier in weight.The Greenworks string trimmer works amazingly as an edger and the battery operates at full performance until it dies and it lasted approximately 45 minutes of constant use between the blower and string trimmer. I am a long-time Greenworks fan and have had 3 mowers that were great. This trimmer was disappointing. It is hard to adjust the length, the trigger is hard to control the speed, it jams often, and I go through a whole spool every time I do the yard. This time, the spool came flying out and the line went everywhere, so it is wasted. I am going to purchase another brand.
