I needed to be able to work with a computer in two separate areas of my small home recording studio. I have a desktop computer with a monitor in one area so I was thinking about getting a laptop or iPad for the second area. Then it dawned on me that all I needed was another monitor. This is a small HDMI splitter box. It takes one HDMI input and outputs that to four different HDMI connections. The splitter box comes with a charging cord and instruction manual. This is very convenient if you are using it for your computer and want to have separate monitors and/or devices. I ordered this because most of our TVs have apps, except the one that we have on our patio. This way I can connect to the single cable box in my house and output to four different TVs without having to move the Box around. This item takes a single HDMI input and duplicates it into four HDMI outputs. This is useful if you want to show the same images on four monitors.The splitter supports 4K at 30 Hz with audio at high fidelity.It's plug & play and works well.In addition to the one input and four outputs, there are six LEDs to indicate the presence of power, the input, and each of the outputs.The splitter is in a metal enclosure and feels solid.It does not provide a way to attach it to the wall or the back of a monitor. Came with the wrong power cord so as of now its a one star so i have to wait for a replacement how do you mess us a power cord of all things just a nice fancy paper weight .

Saves me from paying for another cable box. I am using one set top box to connect to 3 different devices, and it works just fine. Two are wired, and one is going through a wireless HDMI extender. I may eventually utilize the fourth, probably with another wireless setup. The upcharge is steep to pay for another cable box month by month, so this allows more sets to watch the (same) program.I know if you start splitting HDMI you can start to lose signal, but I guess that's why this is powered by the wall jack. I am only doing 1080, so this splitter should have some extra headway.Not much more I n

Came in, plugged it in straight out of the packaging. Light comes on, try to connect a computer to a projector, Nothing happens. Tried all the other parts, they work fine. Bought a different one, that one works great.
