The ieGeek Home Security Floodlight Camera installs very easily providing one has an appropriate junction box. The instructions were straight forward and once installed the downloadable phone app (CloudEdge) gives voice guidance on starting it up and testing, which took less than a minute. A QR-code on your phone is read by the camera to make the connection to your router, allowing the phone app to connect to the camera.The video resolution is very good and the camera covers a wide area (see pic of deck area). camera was easy to set up. very nice to use up to a 128GB micro SD card and not pay monthly fees. controls are not easy to find, and the manual is absolutely useless. Motion sensor when installed above garage door only works to maybe 15-20' so anything going on at the far end of the driveway or street isn't triggered. camera resolution is decent, similar to what others do. wifi connection works well, and I can view on my smartphone from anywhere. For something under $100, I would recommend it. If you live in a high crime area, get a better one.

One fantastic floodlight/camera combo that does not disappoint. Purchased this at the end of December 2022 and could not wait to install it immediately. The picture quality is okay but that's literally it. The motion sensing light only works when you walk right up to it no matter what the settings are on. It often requires several attempts to initially set it up. It appears to have issues connecting to the router and the user must continually restart the setup process until a successful connection is made. I believe another review stated the same.
