Feature wise, it's pretty good. It's been able to do everything I need it to do. Battery life is good. It's major and massive shortcoming is its screen brightness. The screen is VERY dim compared to several other (cheaper) units on Amazon. I have turned "brightness" all the way up, and "backlight" all the way up, in the system settings. And it's still not even half as bright as my two coworkers units (we all bought different models in a similar price range $100-200). I ordered the Wsdcam Camera Tester because I had an immediate need to test several Cat 5 cables, which this device can do, and also because I need to test a 20-camera CCTV system that is acting up. I decided that I would do the testing on my own rather than hire an outside company.
