This little camera has became one my favorite shooters to just carry around when I don't have the option for my bigger gear. I feel like it shines with black and white films but I've also tried it with portra 800 and was really pleased with the results. If it were to break I would definitely buy again.

Great value for the price. Loved using this as a beginner photographer this is a huge step up from a basic point & shoot but still beginner friendly

I’ve had the Kodak Snapic A1 for about two months now and honestly, it’s been a lot of fun to use. I’ve mainly shot digital for over 10 years, so this was my first time really trying film. I picked it up just wanting something simple and fun, not something I had to take too seriously.As a first-time film shooter using a point-and-shoot, it’s been a great experience. Definitely a very convenient film camera. Simple point and shot, literally. You don’t have to worry about winding the film after a shot, or having the flash on for a shot or even rewinding it yourself when you have no more film in the roll. This camera does it all for you. I love this camera! Light and pocketable. Much more affordable than the Pentax 17 or Lomo MC-A at $500-ish each. Two zone focusing, and anything past 5-6 feet is distance setting.@masemotophoto

On the surface this seems like a great camera, something better than a disposable camera that isn't vintage equipment. But if you used a point and shoot camera in the 90s, know that this camera is not what you may remember from that era. And yes when you read the specs and details, they are all laid out, but when you put them together it really isn't a great combination.
